Some changes were done to the layout and have a one/two? week plan to drastically improve the UI of the site. Progress every day till its perfect.

The top banner is now sticky and slightly different.

I changed the button colors up top as I got a complaint and agreed they were too bright

"A website should be as simple as possible and no simpler" The newest update revamped buttons as you may have noticed. It brought down 15 categories to 3. Most popular, newest, and following (only people you follow). It should help smooth out the site. It will be easier to navigate without having to go to the top of the page to click a button. I will work on improving posting, comment, and other flow issues the site has.

Added an update to move a post out of your room to /a/general. This can be handy if a room owner or mod doesn't feel like its appropriate content for there room.

I have updated the dropdown room selection to be alphabetically ordered. General should appear first.

Also as noted by user Vespco I think that we have reached stage 2 in Tipvote where room ownership should be a bit harder to obtain without a turnoff for new users. We have increased level requirement to level 5. That still isnt too hard to get but hard enough to prevent account spamming. As noted it could hurt content for future room ownership and Tipvotes growth with a bunch of empty rooms. I think a person personally couldnt handle so many rooms neither. The content provided in them would be scarce or lackluster. I have reduced amount of rooms a person can own ultimately. Any thoughts of opinions is gladly welcome.

Another Announcement. We have updated tagging a user with another way. You can do /u or @ cause insensitive. That way when users come from multiple platforms it works for them. It will display different as well . Mrskratch Mrskratch

The ability to tag users like the infamous /u/Mrskratch . Just type in "/u/username" without any symbols around it.

You can also tag rooms like /a/xmr . Just type in "/a/roomname" without any symbols around it.

Several bug fixes happened in todays update

• Better Reporting of profits from rooms in wallet.
• Fixed a routing issue with monero notification.
• Added better information for notifications.
• Added xmr promotions (it was already in just untested).
• Made comments more mobile friendly

Had some SSL/DNS issues this morning bit I "believe" they have been resolved. Let me know if you get any insecure warning from here on out.

We have added a "general" room for new subscribers as requested by a number of users.

Fixed an issue with viewing comments on tablets. The vote system on comments has better response with the right number.

The leveling system has undergone some "improvements" and your user level will jump. We thought the process was too slow. Also we added an updates page to show new updates to the site. https://www.tipvote.com/updates

Comment voting was added with latest commit. Error messages for double voting, and changing your vote in a future update.

We updated post voting. No longer had a redirect. We thought this was crucial to allow more activity on posts. Expect future quality of life updates

We have officially added monero wallet ! It was planned upon release, but needed further testing. In the future we will look at additional wallets to add.

Posting now supports uploading a gif or linking. Also image linking added for easier posting.
